Depeche Mode is a British band of electronic music formed in 1980 by Vince Clarke, Andrew Fletcher, Martin Gore and David Gahan. After his debut album Speak & Spell in 1981, Clarke left the group and was replaced by Alan Wilder, who remained until 1995. Since then, Gahan, Gore and Fletcher, continue the project as a trio.
