I watched this a few years ago and had never heard of Depeche Mode. So naturally when the girl mentioned them I thought they were a french band.
The girl is on a date with a sketchy man, and says that her favorite band is Depeche Mode. The man replies “me too”!
Later on Enjoy the Silence is played at the restaurant and the man does not know it…so basically Depeche Mode plays a critical part in the plot.
Yeah the man’s an asshole
