  • I think most of the songs are from November 14, 1980 recorded at Southend-On-Sea Technical College. Reason Man and Tomorrow’s Dance are recorded at The Bridgehouse, October 30, 1980. They were called Depeche Mode by this time.

  • No it isn’t. The lyrics are “closer all the time”. The song is called Addiction. The information was published in the official BONG fanclub magazine #24

  • This is amazing to hear! Wish I could have seen them live at this time when electronic music was so fresh and new.

  • I wonder why the haven’t recorded Addiction. This song is still good

  • Hi,

Thank you for your kind words. The Composition Of Sound recordings I’ve uploaded are from a rare CD my friend’s uncle gave to me – it simply said “1980: Composition Of Sound Tour – UK” — I don’t know where exactly in the UK, or the exact date of recording, but they are all from the same gig except for ‘Reason Man’, which was from the same tour but a bit later on.

Hope this info helps. Have a good day! DM Forever
